Can I just say, I love my dad! There is something about a daddy/daughter relationship. Over the years, Lance has become my #1 man, but my daddy is still "my daddy". He set a wonderful example growing up and even as I reach my 40's he is still wise beyond his years and when asked, gives wonderful council. I feel very blessed to call him daddy. He is such an earthly example of the love the heavenly father has for me. I am a daddy's girl.
This year, we celebrated his 66 birthday! I can't believe it. The time has flown and here we are at another birthday. I was not suprised when he wanted to celebrate at his favorite resturant Cabo in Tulsa. Here are a few of my favorite pics of us at the resturant.
Daddy loves this resturant, and a meal just isn't complete here without the Sopapillas! On your birthday, they are complementary, so bring them on!
Kelsey and Austin decided this year to make a present for G-Daddy. They painted pictures for him and were so excited about it, they wanted him to open it at Cabo.
Here are some pictures of Kelsey's gift. (She and G-Daddy were being a little silly too!)
Then it was Austin's turn to give his present. He painted a beautiful cross.
We had a little fun there too!
Then we headed to the house for lemon cake and presents.
Finally it was more present time...cowboy boots, i-tunescards, hugs and wallets.
