Snowmageddon Day 5

Well, it is a warm 35 degrees outside and the melting has begun. It has been lots of fun and the kids have had a blast. Since yesterday, our tunnel has grown into a fortunnel and Max took off on an adventure. He didn't get very far, thanks to the graciousness of our neighbor.


A has been working hard on a ramp. He has built stairs up the ramp and slides down on his sled. He is having more fun and I am sure that one day, he will talk about this snow just like I talk about the snows in Chicago.

Today, Lance decided to get on the roof and shovel snow off. With another predicted 6 inches, it was time to get the 18 inches off.

With all of this snow and not getting out in it much, I have seriously cooked my way into 10 pounds. I have been cooking non-stop. I have made sugar and chocolate chip cookies, soups, pizza, lasagna, and now I am gearing up for the Super Bowl. For that, I have made a honey bun cake, and chamale dip. I don't really care who wins the Super Bowl, I am going for the food and company. That's what it is all about.

I just hope the honey bun cake makes it to tomorrow.

I can not believe that they are predicting more snow on Wednesday. SIX inches! YEA!! I guess we will just have to wait and see. Snowmageddon continues.....
